How Does It Work?

Managing ongoing staff education - Your organisation is set up in a secure training department within the MOT learning management system (LMS). Learners are then automatically enrolled into either the Residential aged care, Community aged care or CPD aged care programs to meet industry compliance requirements and national registration for nurse’s CPD requirements.
Your organisation will also be allocated manager access to allow learners to be enrolled into specific modules as required by the organisation.

Tracking and reporting learner activity - One of the distinct advantages of MOT online aged care education is our ability to accurately track and report on learner activity. Learner activity reports can be generated on demand. MOT routinely emails a learner activity report to your organisation’s MOT manager each fortnight.

Customisation - Moving ON Training is committed to the transfer of knowledge to practice and we believe this is best achieved if learners are able to have a single point of access to education, organizational policies and procedures or protocols, competencies and other organisation specific information.
We can work with organisations to customize MOT modules, upload or embed proprietary information and develop organisation specific modules.

MOT online education site - Learners are allocated a user name and password and login to the MOT online education site. The system works on internet explorer and a

Personalised training area - Once learners are logged on they are able to access their personal training area where:
• Current modules are accessed from
• They can re-access completed modules fro refreshment or review
• Search the MOT library catalogues
• Self enroll in modules if they have self enrollment status
• Add other non MOT education or continuing professional development to in Activities.

Simple access and navigation - Once a learner is logged in:
• They simply launch the current module and follow the user friendly navigation instructions
• Computer skills are not necessary
• Access is via a computer with internet connection anywhere and at any time – workplace, home, internet cafe or local library
• All learners are automatically enrolled into the modules from the MOT online libraries – Residential library,Community library and CPD library according to the organisation’s requirements
• Self enrollment in modules is available to all individual subscribers and on request for organisational subscriptions.

Module structure - Each MOT module:
• Comprises a number of units with learner outcomes for each unit
• The units on average take between 10- 20 minutes to complete
• Learners can stop and re-start a module at anytime as the pages are automatically book marked
• Each module includes an online assessment. The assessment is automatically marked and provides instant learner feedback. Learners who are not yet competent can redo the assessment or bookmark the page and return to the assessment at a later time
• Once successfully completed the learner will be issued with a print friendly certificate and can complete an anonymous online evaluation.
